What PlainPrint is
PlainPrint is a document explanation service. It helps you understand plain-language summaries and analyses of documents you upload. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
What PlainPrint is not
The analyses provided by PlainPrint explain what a document says — they are not legal advice, and they should not substitute for consultation with a qualified professional before making important decisions. Every analysis ends with a disclaimer to this effect.
Your account
You sign in with your email address only. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. There is no password to reset — if you lose access to your email, contact support.
Free tier
Free accounts may analyze up to 3 documents per rolling 30-day period. This limit is enforced automatically. Unused analyses do not roll over.
Paid subscription
The paid plan costs $9/month and provides unlimited analyses. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
Refunds: We offer a full refund within 3 days of any charge. Email support@plainprint.app to request one.
Cancellation: To cancel your subscription, email support@plainprint.app. We will cancel your subscription so it does not renew at the next billing date. You retain access through the end of your current paid period. There is no self-service cancellation at this time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents you do not have the right to share
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits through multiple accounts or automated requests
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Limitation of liability
PlainPrint is provided "as is." We make no warranty that analyses are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on content produced by this service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of PlainPrint after an update constitutes acceptance. We will notify subscribed users of material changes by email.
