What we collect
We collect only your email address, which you provide when signing in. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personal information.
We collect basic usage information (how many documents you have analyzed) to enforce the free-tier limit. This is stored as a count tied to your email address.
Documents you upload
We do not store the documents you upload. When you upload a document, it is processed in memory on our servers, sent to the AI analysis service, and then discarded. No copy of your document is saved to any database or storage system. This is a deliberate privacy commitment, not just an implementation detail.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe and are subject to their privacy policy. We receive only confirmation that a subscription is active.
How we use your information
- To send you sign-in links via email
- To track your free-tier usage count
- To verify your subscription status
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic — AI analysis of documents you upload
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
- Resend — sending sign-in emails
- Upstash — storing usage counts (email + count, no document content)
- Vercel — hosting
Cookies
We store a session token in an httpOnly cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. This cookie contains only your email address and an expiration time, encrypted. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@plainprint.app. Because we do not store your documents, there is no document history to delete.
